Chicken Shawarma Recipe | Easy Shawarma-Style Chicken Breast

Today we're making "Shawarma-Style" Chicken Breast! This recipe requires a few different spices, but it's incredibly easy to make and is a great way to break out of the rut of boring and plain tasting chicken breast. The marinade and spices provide a delicious and strong flavor and it's so quick and easy it's sure to become a staple for your weeknight dinners or meal prep. 

INGREDIENTS: (MAKES 4 SERVINGS)

• Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast (1lb/450g)
• Peanut Oil (1 TBSP)
• Lemon Juice (1 TSP)
• Water (1 TBSP)
• Salt (1 TBSP)
• Pepper (1 TBSP)
• Turmeric (1 TSP)
• Cumin (1 TSP)
• Paprika (1 TSP)
• Garlic Powder (1/2 TSP)
• All-Spice (1/4 TSP)
• Cinnamon (1/4 TSP)


INSTRUCTIONS:

In a bowl, add all ingredients beside the chicken breast and whisk thoroughly. Cut the chicken breast into slices, and place them into the bowl, ensuring all pieces of chicken are evenly coated. Cover the bowl, and place in the fridge for an hour to marinate. 
Preheat your pan to medium-high, spray with nonstick spray, and begin to cook chicken breast. Stir chicken every 3-4 minutes and cook until internal temperature of 165F is reached. Serve and enjoy!
