My 3 Favorite Spice Blends | Low Calorie Cooking Basics

Properly seasoning your food is essential for any cook, but it becomes even more essential while you're dieting. When the calories get cut out, you don't want to sacrifice flavor and suffer through bland and boring meals. Today I'm sharing 3 of my favorite spice blends that I use for low calorie cooking. 

Blend #1: (Great for Veggies)
Garlic Powder & Fennel
+ Salt & Pepper to taste

Blend #2: (My Taco Seasoning)
3 Parts Chili Powder
2 Parts Onion Powder
1 Part Garlic Powder
1 Part Oregano
1 Part Paprika
1 Part Cumin
+ Salt & Pepper to taste

Blend #3: (Great for Stir Fry)
Sesame Seeds
Ginger
Cayenne
Garlic Powder
+ Salt & Pepper to taste
